When there’s a new season, without fail, I will want to buy new things. It’s kind of a problem of mine. HOWEVER I am getting rid of essentially T E N years of clothing, shoes, and purses that I have accumulated. I literally have everything stuffed into a walk in closet, there’s a PILE of clothing up to my waist. It needs to go. I’ve been trying to age up my closet, and getting rid of things seems to be helping (bye bye crop tops from college, you definetely will not be missed… at all). So my wishlist is decidedly more ~mature~ than I’ve been used to in the past.
Shoes: I’ve been trying to wear more heels that arent stilletos, or wedges. These block heels are the perfect blush + gold combo, and the chunky block heel pretty much ensures my feet will not be aching at the end of the day. Score.
Dress: Working in a more ~corporate~ environment, I can’t just wear yoga pants and old hoodies all day, no matter how much I truly want to. I’ve been buying a lot more dresses, because they’re easy to wear to the office, and can be dressed up for work (hey blazer) or I can wear them to drinks / anything other than work. (just add converse!)
Jeans: I love a good ripped jean. It takes me back to when I was listening to My Chemical Romance and was hand distressing my Abercrombie jeans. (I pretty much still do this). Now I’m an adult, and i can make good choices and purchase pretty pre-ripped jeans.
Bag: This is the only thing on my list that’s over 100$ — this bag is so pretty, and the supple quilted leather is calling my name. I’m sure everyone already knows how much I adore kate spade, and they just continue to keep me hooked.
Lipstick: Since finding my signature lipstick color, I’ve felt more comfortable branching out of that color comfort zone. This coral color is b e a u t i f u l, and will probably look amazing with a summer tan.
