My kindle has been getting A LOT of use lately. Mostly because I have no room in my bookshelf, or apartment for any more books. My ‘to be read’ pile is reaching astronomical heights, so I’m trying to lessen that clutter. I’ve had this kindle for a while, but I haven’t really used it (mostly because I don’t use public transportation to get to work anymore, so I have even LESS time to read.) I’ve recently unearthed the kindle from the depths of my closet, and started using it again. I try to not read multiple books at one time, but I always end up not finishing one book, and then starting an alllll new one. The vicious cycle continues forever.
Leave Your Mark – Aliza Licht. This book is awesome, espcially for someone that’s been working in social media for as long as I have. Alizs used to be DKNYPRGIRL which was the first fashion insider twitter account I can remember. This book tells you tricks of the trade and other amazing things about the lives of people that work in social media.
Hijacking The Runway – Teri Agins. I haven’t started this book yet. but I cannot wait to get into it. As someone that’s been interested in Fashion for as long as I can remember (and drama even longer than that) this book seems to be the best intersection of my interests.
Why Not Me – Mindy Kaling. If you haven’t read “Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me”, you need to stop reating this post, and start it right now. Mindy Kaling is smart, funny, and powerful and I want to be her when I grow up.
